The secondary intervention program involves some 80 secondary students per year in a range of activities.
As a voluntary after-school program for students experiencing some difficulties in their schooling. It makes use of technology skills, differentiated curriculum, fitness and sport as a motivational tool to enhance re-engagement. The program is desgined to bolster the students' confidence and self-esteem and to re-engage them in their learning environment.
The program makes use of the numerous facilities on site as well as some local venues, for example: World Gym, YMCA, Nepean Tennis Courts, etc. This helps them to achieve a balance of practical and theoretical componenets of the designed program.
Entry into the program is voluntary and should be negotiated through your school.
